新編 銀河鉄道の夜
The nightjar, hated by other birds because of its unsightly appearance, is one day threatened by a hawk, who tells him, "If you don't change your name, I'll kill you." Sinking into sadness, the nightjar continues to fly through the night sky, seeking help from the stars. This is a poignant story by Kenji Miyazawa about bullying, loneliness, and self-sacrifice.
