Grandpa Mazai and the Hares

The old hunter Mazai tells how, in spring, during the flood season, he rowed his boat through the water-logged forest and, instead of hunting, gathered up frightened hares from little islands and snags. A kind and very Russian story about what to do with prey that begs to climb into your boat of its own accord.
