Wu Song Fights the Tiger

Wu Song (Wǔ Sōng) is walking home. He has been away a long time, he is very strong, he is extremely proud of being very strong, and he has had a great deal to drink.

Between him and home is a ridge called Jingyang. At the foot of it stands a tavern with a sign outside promising that three bowls of its wine will stop any man from walking over that ridge. Wu Song has had eighteen.
