The Same Second
(A small watch shop. A man looks at two watches on the table.)
Man: I want a watch. How much is this big gold one?
Shopkeeper: That one is one hundred. It is very nice.
Man: And this little black one?
Shopkeeper: That one is only ten.
Man: Why is the black one so cheap? Is it slow?
Shopkeeper: No. Look. This watch says three o'clock. That watch says three o'clock too. The same hour, the same minute, the same second.
Man: So both watches tell the same time?
Shopkeeper: Yes. The same time, every second.
Man: Then I want the little black one. Why pay ninety more for the same second?
