The Key in the Old Coat
Last week I lost my key. I looked everywhere.
I looked under the bed. No key. I looked behind the door. No key. I looked in every bag. Still no key.
So I bought a new key. It was not cheap.
Then it got cold, and I took out my old winter coat. I put my hand in the pocket. Something was in there. My key. My own key, in my own coat.
So now I have two keys. The same key, two times.
One key is for the door. The other key is to help me remember: always look in the old coat first.
