The Fish on the TV
Today our class travelled to the Science Museum in London. It's three hours from my school in Bristol.
There's a real rocket in the space room. It's white and very big. I stood under it for a long time. Everybody took photos.
At five o'clock we went home in the bus. It was dark outside. The bus had a little TV at the front, and it played a programme about the sea. There were fish with small lights on their heads. Nobody talked. Everybody watched the fish.
At home I telephoned my grandma.
“Where did you go?” she said.
“To the museum,” I said. “There's a rocket. It's very big.”
“And?”
“And I liked the fish.”
“Fish?” she said. “In the museum?”
“No,” I said. “On the TV. In the bus.”
Then I told her about the fish for ten minutes. I didn't tell her about the rocket.
