Put It Back
(A rainy Saturday afternoon in Ivan's apartment in Brooklyn.)
Nora: It's raining again. Let's play a game.
Ivan: Okay. We have a lot of games.
Nora: Do we have any card games?
Ivan: No cards. But we have this board game.
Nora: How long is it?
Ivan: Two hours. Maybe three.
Nora: Too long. Put it back.
(Ivan puts the box back and takes another one.)
Ivan: This game is fast. Twenty minutes.
Nora: It has only a few pieces. Some pieces are lost.
Ivan: Under the sofa? I don't know.
Nora: Put it back.
Ivan: Okay. This one is better. It's short, and it has all the pieces.
Nora: Yes! I like this game.
(Nora looks at the window.)
Nora: Ivan! No more rain. The sun is here.
Ivan: Put it back. Let's go outside.
