Lake or Beach
Marcus and Dev wanted to go camping, but they could not agree on a spot.
Marcus: I think we should go to Pine Lake. It's quieter than the coast.
Dev: Quieter? It's just emptier. There's nothing to do there.
Marcus: That's the point. We're going camping to relax, not to find a crowd.
Dev: But the beach at Sandhead is warmer, and it's closer. We could be there in an hour.
Marcus: It's always crowded in summer. Last year we couldn't even find a place for the tent.
Dev: That depends on the day. If we go early, it's fine.
Marcus: I don't want to wake up at five just to get a spot.
Dev: Anyway, the lake has too many insects. I got bitten everywhere last time.
Marcus: The beach has too much wind. You couldn't light the fire, remember?
Dev: Okay, okay. So the lake is boring and the beach is crowded.
Marcus: We should just stay home and watch the camping show on TV.
Dev: Now that's the best idea you've had all day.
