Down the Long Street
The postman walks down one long street. He has many letters in his bag.
The first house is small and white. He puts one letter in the door.
The second house has a red door. Two letters here.
The third house has a big dog. The postman is fast at the third house.
The fourth house has many flowers. The fifth house is shut, with no lights.
He walks and walks. Number seventeen. Number seventy. The street is very long.
At last he comes to the last house: number ninety. It is the end of the street.
The postman looks in his bag. It is empty now. From the first house to the ninetieth, every door has its letter.
Then he turns around and walks back. Tomorrow he will start at the first house again.
