Behind That Door
Ling: Can you see me now, Mum?
Carol: Yes! Turn the phone round. What's behind that door?
Ling: That's the bathroom. There's a window in it.
Carol: And this door?
Ling: My bedroom. There's a bed and two boxes. I'm not finished.
Carol: Boxes are fine. What's at the end?
Ling: The living room. There are two chairs and no table yet.
Carol: Is there a balcony?
Ling: Yes. Come and see. There are plants on it. They're not mine.
Carol: I'll sit there in October, when I visit.
Carol: Which room is your favourite?
Ling: This one. The hallway.
Carol: The hallway? There's nothing in a hallway.
Ling: There is. Look. Our photographs are on this wall. You're here too.
