A Hat from an Old Newspaper

Do you have an old newspaper? Then you can make a hat. It takes two minutes.

First, take one big page. Put it on the table. Make it flat.

Then fold the page down the middle. Make the fold flat with your hand.

Next, fold one top corner to the middle. Then fold the other corner to the middle too. Now the page looks like a little house.

Under the corners there is a long piece of paper. Fold it up. Turn the hat over and fold the other piece up too.

Now open the hat and put it on your head. Wear it in the house. Wear it in the garden. But don't wear it in the rain! The rain makes the paper wet, and the hat falls on your nose.
