Which Month Is Your Birthday?
There is a big chart on the wall. It shows the twelve months of the year.
The first month is January. It is cold, and there is snow on the trees.
The second month is February. It is short, with only twenty-eight days.
The third month is March. There is wind, and the first flowers come up.
The fourth month is April. There is rain, and the grass is green.
The fifth month is May. There are birds in the garden.
The sixth month is June. The days are long and warm.
The seventh month is July. There is sun, and children play outside.
Then come August, September, October, and November.
The last month is December. There is snow again.
There are twelve months on the chart. And there is one more thing at the bottom.
It says: “Now it is your turn. Which month is your birthday?”
