Up, Down, and Through

I am a small mouse, and this house is very big.

First I go up. I run up the stairs and across the floor. The cat is here. I go behind the door, and the cat does not see me. The door is good.

Then I go down. I go down to the kitchen. There is cheese above me, on the table. I cannot reach it. So I go below the table and wait. A bit of cheese falls down. Now the cheese is below the table, with me.

I run through a little hole in the wall. On the other side there is more cheese. And behind that cheese? The cat.

I go back through the hole. Fast.

Up, down, behind, below, across, through. This is my house too. But the cat can keep that room.
