The Moon Can Wait
Theo and Amara wanted to build a spaceship. They had a big cardboard box in the garage.
“Let’s make a list,” Amara said.
First, they cut two windows. Second, they made a door. Then they put four paper cups on the back for the engines.
“Now let’s create the buttons,” Theo said.
After two hours, the list was complete.
“It’s ready!” Amara said. “Let’s fly to the moon!”
They pushed the spaceship to the garage door. But it was too big. Half of it went out, and half of it stayed in.
“Okay,” Theo said. “The moon can wait.”
