Your First Interview
(A small shop. The manager has a form on the table. A teenager sits down.)
Manager: Hi! Sit down. So, this is your first job?
Teenager: Yes. My very first interview, too. I'm a little nervous.
Manager: That's okay. It's a small shop. Can you work on Saturdays?
Teenager: Yes, every Saturday. I'm free all day.
Manager: Good. The routine is easy. You open the door, you help people find things, you say thank you. Can you do that?
Teenager: I think so. I'm good with people. But I can't use the money machine yet.
Manager: That's fine. I can teach you the machine. Nobody knows it on day one.
Teenager: Really? Then... yes, I want the job.
Manager: It's yours. Sign here, on the form. And don't be nervous. You already passed.
