Two or Three Times a Day
(Outside security at Manchester Airport. Noah has his bag. His plane leaves at ten.)
Iris: Do you have your passport?
Noah: Of course. Here, in my pocket.
Iris: And your phone?
Noah: Also in my pocket. Iris, I'm okay.
Iris: Sorry. I know.
Noah: It's only two weeks.
Iris: I hope you call me when you land.
Noah: I'll call you. Every day.
Iris: Every day? No, that's a lot.
Noah: Two or three times a day, then.
Iris: That's not what I said!
Noah: I know.
(Noah sees his flight number on the board. He takes his bag.)
Noah: I have to go.
Iris: Okay. Bye.
Noah: Iris. Come with me next time.
Iris: Next time. Yes.
