The Mouse and the Paint
There is a big box of paint. A little mouse looks at it.
“I am grey,” says the mouse. “Grey is not fun. I want a new color.”
The mouse jumps in the red paint. “Now I am red!” Then the mouse jumps in the yellow paint. “Now I am orange!” Then the mouse jumps in the pink paint and the purple paint too.
A big elephant walks in. The elephant looks at the mouse.
“You have red, yellow, pink, and purple,” says the elephant. “But what color are you now?”
The mouse looks down. The mouse is brown. All the paint is brown now.
“I am brown,” says the mouse. “Grey is not so bad.”
