A Year on the Fridge

On the fridge, there is a big calendar. It shows all the months of the year. Every month has a small note.

In spring, the family plants flowers. The first warm day is in March.

In July and August, it is summer. They go to the sea. Summer is hot and long.

In September, school starts again. The leaves turn red and gold.

In November, there is a big food festival in the town. Everybody cooks.

Then winter comes, with snow and short days. The family stays home and waits for spring.

One year, on one fridge. Every month, something good.
