What's in the Fridge?

Dad: OK, before the shop. How much milk do we have?

Child: Not much. A little. About one cup.

Dad: One cup is not enough. How many eggs?

Child: Um… few. Three eggs.

Dad: Three is not many. And bread? Do we have any bread?

Child: No bread. None.

Dad: So we need a lot. Write a list.

Child: Milk, eggs, bread… and a lot of cake.

Dad: We have enough cake.

Child: We have NO cake. I ate it.

Dad: …So we need a lot of cake.
