Two Cakes
Dad: Hi, Mina! What did you do today?
Mina: I went to school, Dad.
Dad: Yes. And what did you do at school?
Mina: I saw a bird. It was in a tree, next to the window.
Dad: A bird! Did you eat?
Mina: Yes, I did. I ate rice and fish, and I drank milk.
Dad: And the cake? Did you eat the cake?
Mina: The cake? There wasn’t a cake in my bag.
Dad: There wasn’t a cake?
Mina: No. Dad, what did you eat today?
Dad: I ate rice and fish. I ate a cake… and I ate a cake.
Mina: Two cakes? Dad! One was my cake!
Dad: Sorry, Mina. Tomorrow you have two cakes.
