The Dog and the Blue Bag
After class, Dara lost his lunch bag in the park. It was a little blue bag. His sandwich was in it.
He looked under the bench. The bag was not there. He looked behind the big tree. The bag was not there.
“I hope it's here,” Dara said. “It's my lunch.”
Then a large brown dog ran to him. The blue bag was in the dog's mouth.
“That's mine!” Dara said.
The dog put the bag on the grass, next to Dara's shoes. Then he sat down and looked at Dara.
Dara opened the bag. He took out the sandwich, and he gave the cheese to the dog.
“Thank you,” he said.
The dog ate it quickly. Then he put his head on Dara's shoe and closed his eyes.
