The Clean Sheep and the Dirty Pig
The sheep is very clean. Her wool is white and soft. The pig is very dirty. He is brown with mud.
“I am clean,” the sheep says. “You are dirty. That is not good.”
The pig looks at her. “I like the mud,” he says. “The mud is cool. The mud is fun.”
A horse walks by. The horse is big and clean.
“Look at the pig,” the sheep says to the horse. “He is so dirty. I feel rich and clean. He is poor.”
The horse looks at the pig. The pig rolls in the mud. He is happy. He sings a little song.
The horse looks at the sheep. The sheep stands in the hot sun. She is clean, but she is not happy.
“He is not poor,” the horse says. “He has much fun. You have a clean coat and no fun.”
The sheep looks at the pig for a long time. Then she walks to the mud.
