The Cheaper Train

Sophie: Hi. I'd like a ticket to Leeds, please.

Clerk: Sure. The next train leaves at two, but it's quite expensive. Is that all right?

Sophie: Oh. Is there an alternative?

Clerk: There's one at three. It's slower, although it's cheaper.

Sophie: I'll take the cheaper one, then.

Clerk: Good choice. Will you be coming back today?

Sophie: Yes, in the evening, if that's allowed.

Clerk: Of course. The last train back leaves at nine.

Sophie: Perfect. Could I pay by card?

Clerk: Any way you like. Card is fine.

Sophie: Great. Thank you so much.

Clerk: Platform four. Have a good trip.
