So Many Ways to Say Hello
In this class, the students come from many countries. Today they teach each other how to say hello and goodbye.
In Japan, you bow and you say it softly. In Spain, you kiss on the cheek two times. In Kenya, you take the other person's hand, and you hold it for a long time.
“And here,” says the teacher, “we just wave and say hi.”
The students laugh. They like every way.
So they all stand up. They bow, they wave, they shake hands. “Welcome!” they say. “See you tomorrow!”
