One Park, Twelve Months
There is one small park in the middle of the city. The same people come every day. They watch the year change in this one place.
In January, the park is white with snow. In February, the snow is old and grey. In March, the first green leaves come back. In April, the rain falls and the grass grows fast.
In May, the trees are full and the birds sing. In June, the children play here all day. In July, it is very hot, and people sleep under the big trees. In August, the days are long and slow.
In September, the leaves turn brown. In October, the wind takes them away. In November, the park is quiet and cold. In December, the snow comes back.
The park is small. But the people watch it, and every month it is new.
