Too Many Questions for One Dad
A child sits with her dad. “What did we do yesterday?” she asks.
“Yesterday we went to the park,” he says.
“And tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow we will go to the zoo.”
“And tonight?”
“Tonight you will sleep,” he laughs. “And next you will wake, and it will be tomorrow.”
“So tomorrow is yesterday’s tomorrow?” she asks.
“Now,” he says, “that is too many questions for one dad.”
