A Very Healthy Lunch
A dad packs a lunch box for his son.
“I put an apple in this box,” the dad says. “Apples are healthy.”
“I don't like apples,” the boy says. “I like ice cream.”
“Ice cream is not a lunch. Here is some meat and some bread. And this is water.”
“I don't want water. I want juice.”
“Okay, a little juice.” The dad looks in the box. “Now you have meat, bread, an apple, and juice. A very healthy lunch.”
The boy looks too. “And the ice cream?”
“That,” says the dad, “is for me. My diet starts tomorrow.”
